MBA Aspirations...
Long time no chat... so much to update you on. The biggie at the moment is my quest for an MBA... yes... an MBA... and not the one I ordered online a couple years back.

The program is great. I've learned a ton - including the fact that I might just have some cranial capacity after all. If you have a couple years and a small BMW to spare, I highly recommend it... well... at least I do so far. I'll keep you updated. (pictures, story etc.)

HoHoHo.
Tis the holiday season and I hope this site finds you and yours still reeling from the over-consumption of turkey and an added helping of peace on earth. My christmas was a great one spent with family and loved ones. We missed Peter this year - as he's off to Cuba for a little R&R (and some other stuff that I'm sure Fidel would love to know about). Marv came home and has been settling back into the west coast lifestyle a bit. He's back to Washington and the world of the Senate / US Politics.  Would have loved to have had him home longer - but it's always good to reconnect.

The hilight of my Christmas came early when I was asked to play Santa Claus as a kids' Christmas party. "HoHoHo... Merrrrryy Christmas." Is a tough line to get right! The kids were hilarious and full of questions - including "Santa - do reindeer eat waffles?" Anyone want to tackle this??

Time to put some thought and effort into those New Year Resolutions. I'm not someone who uses them as a hard and fast rule about how life should be lived in '05... but it's nice to have a few goals to achieve in the next 365.

Back to Boston.
I'm heading back to Boston for the US election. I'm going to spend election day with my brother and the Kerry-Edwards Campaign team (and to get in on some of the World Series celebration!!) Suffice to say, I'm hoping Kerry wins. (more to come... some day)

Summer of 69... Fall of 71.
Try as I might, this goal has alluded me... for now. I have to admit I could have played practised a little more, spent more time on the range, more time putting (lots more time putting!) -- but I didn't. I had fun. My best score of the summer was a solid 71. I got there 9 times - from all different angles. Twice I finished Birdie, eagle, par to get there. I also finished double, bogie, double as well. I'm beginning to think that golf is a mental game. :)

Thanks to everyone who indulged me in a round or two. I'm putting this goal on hold for a while. I still think it's out there... after all, Jack Nicklaus is almost 65... and still getting it done. In the meantime -- I'm having more fun playing than I can remember. And in the end -- that's what it's all about!

Mexico Adventure!
I went to Mexico in late February and had a blast. It was my first "vacation" ever. I actually sat on the beach at one point and did nothing... for a whole hour and 20 minutes!! If you know me, you'll understand how hard that was to do!

Hockey Update: Mission Accomplished!
I did it -- I scored my goal in hockey. You'll see more on that soon! Suffice to say it was very cool -- and it only took me 4 and a half months to do... I'm guessing that's a good thing. :)

Ok... it's official. I have skated with hockey gear for the first time. I'm almost on my way to becoming a hockey player! Tonight was a skills clinic. It was by far the most grueling experience of my life. I would type more, but my body hurts when I blink... let alone when I type.

They had me skating up and down the ice... over and over and over... at the end of the night, I had nothing left. I could barely skate off the ice and hop to the dressing room. I sat in the dressing room for 5 minutes, just watching my gear on the floor. I swear, if someone came in and stole my stuff in front of me, I couldn't have stopped them.

I can't wait to go back next week!!!
