love adventures, events and gatherings. I grew up as a bit of
a sofa surfer and realized a few years back that I can't live
like that forever. Heck - I spend too much time in front of
this computer already! So, whenever I travel to a new place,
take off for a vacation, or experience something different,
I try to put it in writing. Sometimes there are pictures...
but more often than not, after I'm done, the only things that
are left are the words. |

My goal this summer is to shoot 69 (or better) on my home course
-- Victoria Golf Club. My best score is 71. If you think I've
fallen off the face of the earth, I'm probably golfing. |

Women of Distinction Awards
I tossed my hat into the volunteer realm yet again. This time as
the technical producer for the women of distinction awards for
the YM/YWCA. This was the 6th time I've done it -- and the most
fun. I've put some pics up to show what happened. |

After watching a Vancouver Canucks game in October, I decided
that I wanted to score a goal in hockey. One challenge --
I don't really know how to skate -- and I've never shot a
puck in my life. "How hard can it be?" I thought
to myself. Well... I found out. |
